After applying painterly all over my eye for a primer I started with a pencil brush and MAC's Amber Lights. I lined under my eye and the inner corners and the beginning 1/3 of my lid with this. Then I used my MAC #139 brush and applied MAC's Retrospect to the remainder of the lid and up to the brow bone. Next I used my #217 brush and applied MAC's Woodwinked to the outer lid and into the crease. Finally I blended it out with my MAC #222 brush and added some MAC Brun to darken the crease. After some liner and mascara this is the finished look.
Here are some of the colors that I used
Now for the second look and I have to tell you I LOVE this one! I wasn't sure that I would like it because I was testing out a new product.
After applying painterly as a base, I used my MAC #239 brush to apply MAC's Amber Lights over the lid only. After that I used the L’Oreal Golden Emerald Infallible Eyeshadow (new product AMAZ) and lined under my eyes with it. Next I used MAC's Retrospect in the inner corners and as my highlight color. I did this look multiple ways, on both looks I lined my waterline with MAC's Coffee. Here is the first look. (The first was my favorite).
By now you must realize my love for liner so I thought if it looks this good without liner it must look 10 times better with it!! WRONG, I love it so much more without. I feel that the liner takes away from the beauty and simplicity of the look. Here it is with liner.
Overall the second look is my favorite. What do you think which one do you like best? Is there another color you want me to do a new look with? Sorry I posted so late today ladies my hunny was off and we were house hunting!!!! Hope you love the looks :)
