Tarte Call Of The Wild Palette Review

Hey loves, I wanted to review the Tarte Call Of The Wild Palette...
I got this at Ulta a few weeks ago, I am usually not a huge Tarte fan, but hey it's Leopard so I will instantly like it right?!?!
As you can see the box and the actual palette look the same. That was really disappointing to me. I feel like the whole thing should have been leopard.
The inside was nice, its like a faux leather so it's not too hard like most palettes. It has a nice mirror inside, so that was a plus. Now for the colors...

The outward appearance of the colors are nice, very fall looking. I decided to do a look using some of the colors. Here are the one's that I chose. Wild, Jungle, Meow, Call and Instinct.

Here is the look.
Now let me just say this is a collectors edition, so if you are a collector I'm sure you will love it. Me on the other hand, while I am a collector of most things Leopard I just don't love this palette. The color payoff isn't great to me, if my swatches are any indication for you. I feel like these are colors most everyone already has in their collections. I know I certainly do. I'm just not sure that the $36.00 price tag is worth it for this one. This palette is supposed to be an Ulta exclusive, but I did see QVC had it for sale as well.
Overall I am going to give this a C
It is a collectors edition and if you are already a Tarte lover you will probably want it. Also, if you don't already have these colors, they are great for fall. For me I thought that they would show up a little bit more vibrant, and as I said before I wish the outside look was a little different.
What are your thoughts? Do you have this already? Are you a tarte lover? Look for my review on the Tarte call of the Wild eyeliner in a few days (you WILL NOT want to miss it!)
